1. Apply & Get Approved

Start by submitting your application! This is your first step toward bringing home a Pomsky. Once you're approved, you'll be added to the waiting list and notified when a litter is born. Keep in mind that approval doesn't guarantee placement, but it gets you in the door. The sooner you're approved, the earlier your pick position!

2. Choose Your Puppy & Place Your Deposit

Starting at 1 week old, approved buyers get to select their puppy in waiting list order. If you'd rather meet them first, you're welcome to wait until 6 weeks — just know most puppies are spoken for before then! Once you've chosen your pup, a $500 deposit holds them in your name. You'll have 7 days from notification to place it, and the good news — it goes toward your final purchase price!

 

Color and gender preferences are taken into account, but aren't guaranteed. Just keep in mind the deposit is non-refundable, so make sure you're ready to commit!

3. Watch Your Puppy Grow!

This is the fun part! Weekly photos and videos are posted so you can watch your pup develop week by week from the comfort of your couch. In-person visits open up at 6 weeks, giving mom the quiet time she needs early on. At 6 weeks the puppies have had their first round of vaccinations and are ready for visitors. If the breeder is evaluating a puppy for retention, that pup may be temporarily unavailable — this usually resolves within a couple of weeks.

4. Sign the Contract & Pick Up Your Puppy

Before your puppy comes home, you'll sign a contract that protects both you and the breeder. Read it carefully and ask any questions before pickup day so everything goes smoothly. Puppies go home at exactly 8 weeks old — no earlier. You'll have a 7-day window to pick up from the release date. If you need a different arrangement, just get it agreed to in writing ahead of time.
 

5. Welcome Home!

Your pup won't come empty-handed! They come with a health certificate, full shot records, deworming, 30 days of free pet insurance, and a 2-year health guarantee because we stand behind every puppy we place.

Once you're home and settled, you'll also get an invite to the Painted Pomsky Owners Facebook group — a great community to ask questions, meet other Pomsky owners, and show off your new best friend!
